SRE Huntsville Chapter,
As a reminder, in March we will have our election for SRE Officers during our monthly meeting. If you are interested in having your name on the ballot, even if you and I have spoken and you previously indicated you may be interested in running, please send me a confirmation email to let me know which position you are interested in. To date I have not received commitments for all officer positions, and I would like to at least have 1 name on the ballot for each office. So please send me your name and position of interest.
In accordance with our bylaws, the Chapter officers shall be a President, a Vice-President, a Secretary, and a Treasurer. Officers shall serve a term of two years and until their successors are elected. Their terms of office shall begin upon adjournment of the meeting where their election took place.
A ballot will be sent to each member. The ballot will have the names of all candidates with provision for a separate vote for each officer. If you would like to nominate yourself or another consenting member, please send the nomination to presidenthsv@sre.org and cwjones2@outlook.com. Please be sure that anyone you nominate will be willing to serve for a two year term.
