Hello Everyone!
On behalf of The Association, we would like to invite you to join us for The 2014 Professional of the Year(POY) Dinner. If you were unable to attend the breakfast please see a brief recap of this years Professional of the Year Dinner Event.
The theme for the 2014 POY Event is the “Power of Imagination” and will be held June, 19 2014 at the Westin Hotel. The reception will start at 6:00pm and dinner will be served at 6:30. The evening will continue as Master of Ceremonies, Greg Screws, WHNT News Anchor, sets the stage for three powerful speakers who will discuss the Power of Imagination and the importance of STEM Education. The speakers include Rita Peterson, President of the American Indian Science Engineering Society; Julie Finley from the US Space and Rocket Center; and Cyndy Morgan from Sci-Quest. The speeches will forefront the announcement of the Joseph C. Moquin Award recognizing one individual for their exceptional work and admirable contributions to North Alabama’s technical community.
The tickets can be purchased via the Eventbrite link below. Pre-registration tickets will be available from 23 April 2014 through 12 May 2014 and are $40. Standard registration will open 12 May 2014 through 12 June 2014 and ticket prices will slightly increase to $50. We strongly encourage the utilization of pre-registration to help cut costs and to help us better prepare for the event.
